Smores Indoors!

This is the easiest, cheapest, cutest little tart ever! Boy says it tastes just like real SMORES!! So, it starts with the mini graham cracker tarts. Already made in the baking section.

Then, fill with 5 minute ready-eat chocolate pudding.

Finally, we topped them with marshmallows and broiled until crsipy. Be careful, it only takes a minute, literally! Enjoy!

Did I mention these were cheap?? 65¢ per serving. This "recipe" makes 6.

Boy & Mommy...so sweet!

Isn't this so cute? This has to be one of my favorites!

Boy helping to set up the obstacle course. We had a lot of fun but as soon as we started putting up the tent, we realized we forgot the poles. YIKES! Well, it worked out...it was like 99 degrees that day!!

Happy Birthday Samuel F.B. Morse!!

On the sea voyage home in 1832, Morse encountered Charles Thomas Jackson of Boston who was well schooled in electromagnetism. Witnessing various experiments with Jackson's electromagnet, Morse developed the concept of a single-wire telegraph, and The Gallery of the Louvre was set aside. The original Morse telegraph, submitted with his patent application, is part of the collections of the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian Institution.[4] In time the Morse code would become the primary language of telegraphy in the world, and is still the standard for rhythmic transmission of data.

Happy Administrative Professionals' Day!!!

Administrative Professionals Day formerly known as Secretary's Day is an unofficial secular holiday observed in the United States on the Wednesday of the last full week of April to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals.

National Secretaries Week was created in 1952 through the work of Harry F. Klemfuss of Young & Rubicam, in conjunction with the National Secretaries Association, now known as the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). His goal was to encourage more people to consider careers in the secretarial/administrative support field. Using his skill and experience in public relations, Klemfuss promoted the values and importance of the job of administrative assistants. In doing so, he also created the holiday in recognition of the importance of administrative assistants.

The official period of appreciation/celebration was first proclaimed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer as "National Secretaries Week," which was held June 1-7 in 1952, with Wednesday, June 4, 1952 designated National Secretaries Day. The first Secretaries' Day was held in that year by the National Secretaries Association (now the IAAP), with the support of an association of corporate groups.

Calzones and My Little Helper :)

Have you ever used the ready-made pizza dough from Fresh & Easy? It has to be the most awesome item they have there! Well, almost. I have a small list lof must haves from F&E. They have regular, whole wheat, and even a Rosemary Foccacia which I have not tried yet. All for about $2. Boy & I had so muh fun making these and it's easy to be a short order cook when you can make your own.

Just flatten out the dough and fill with your favorites...this is an awesome family night dinner idea. We mixed 1 egg, 1 container of Riccotta, some parmesean cheese, italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Mixed it all up, spread on the dough, then topped with salami, pepperoni, and all the toppings you can fit inside. 400 degrees for 20 minutes and....

Voila! Dinner is served.
